Jeremy is an instructor of Digital Photography at Hancock College in the Community Education program. He has been teaching beginning and advanced courses on digital photography and Photoshop for over 5 years. Understanding your digital SLR
Whether you are new to digital or have just upgraded to a better, more sophisticated camera, this seminar will give you the guidance you need to succeed in digital photography. We will cover advanced settings of aperture and shutter speed, RAW vs. JPEG, white-balance functions, understanding histograms, using flash features, and much more. No question will go unanswered. Class size is limited to provide individualized instruction for each participant. ALL LEVELS WELCOME! Cost: $49 per person. Class size limited to 4 people.



Learning the Basics of Digital Nature Photography
INTRODUCTORY Weekend Workshops along the beautiful Central Coast of California

Join Jeremy for a hands-on, introductory photo workshop that includes instructional sessions at his Cayucos Studio along with field trips to nearby scenic locations. This basic course is aimed at beginning photographers and photo enthusiasts who want to learn how to use their camera. The first day includes presentations on what you need to know about your camera and how to set it up to properly focus, expose, and compose your pictures. The day ends with a sunset field trip. The second day begins with an early morning field trip and continues with sessions in the Studio about how you can process and share your pictures. Participants will learn how to edit their own pictures for inclusion in a picture show that wraps up the workshop. Some participants may be chosen to be featured as a month-long guest artist in Coastlight Gallery.
Enrollment is limited to 8 participants.
Workshop Fee: $195
Workshop Starts: Saturday between 9 and 11:00am and goes untill sunset. Resumes Sunday at Sunrise until approximately 2pm.
